Privacy Policy
Linguine is a personal performance system for hybrid athletes. This policy explains what information the app can access, why it is used and the choices you control.
Who is responsible for your information
Linguine is operated by MRWTRADES LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16599189. Our registered office is 6 Earle Close, Newton-Le-Willows, England, WA12 9NN.

Information Linguine can use
The information available to Linguine depends on the features and permissions you choose to use.
Health and training information
With your permission, Linguine can read selected data from Apple Health, including workouts and relevant fitness and recovery measurements. Linguine may also write supported workouts to Apple Health when you choose to record them.
Information you add
This can include manually recorded workouts, exercises and sets, training plans, targets, notes, workout classifications, profile details and app preferences.
Device capabilities you choose to use
Camera, selected photo, motion and location access are requested only where needed for supported features and remain subject to your device permissions. Selecting a photo does not give Linguine general access to your photo library.
Purchase information
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. Linguine can receive information needed to confirm entitlement status, but does not receive your full payment-card details.
Support information
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include. When you use the in-app feedback flow, technical context may include app version, build number, iOS version, hardware model, originating screen and timestamp. Health samples, workout records, recovery values and journal content are not added automatically.
How information is used
- To import, record, organise and display your training.
- To classify workouts and estimate the training stimulus they provide.
- To show progress, trends, recovery context and planned-versus-completed training.
- To generate explainable training suggestions and help you decide what may fit next.
- To provide app functions, maintain reliability, restore purchases and respond to support requests.

Where processing and storage happen
Linguine is designed to process core training information on your device where practical. App data may also be stored locally on your device.
If an iCloud or CloudKit backup or restore feature is enabled and available, eligible app data may be stored in your private Apple iCloud account and handled under Apple's terms and privacy practices. Availability can depend on your Apple account, device settings and app version.
Supported on-device intelligence features, where available, use the capabilities provided by the device and are not required for the app's core training record.
Sharing and connected services
Linguine does not sell your personal information. Your health and training information is not used for advertising.
Information is shared when you deliberately export or share it, when it is necessary to provide a service you selected, when required by law, or to protect the security and rights of users and the service.
If you use Linguine's AI coaching share feature, the app can prepare the specific context you select on your device. Depending on your choices, this may include workouts, recovery information, journal entries, and prepared media. Nothing is sent automatically: you choose whether to copy the prepared context or send it to a destination using the iOS share sheet. Once you choose a third-party destination, that service's terms and privacy practices apply.
Future connected services will be added only with appropriate permission and an updated explanation of how data is handled.
Your choices and controls
- Apple Health: You can review or revoke Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app. Linguine cannot delete Health data created by other apps.
- Device permissions: Camera, photos, motion and location permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
- Your entries: Available app controls let you edit or delete supported records you created in Linguine.
- iCloud: Data stored through your Apple account is also subject to Apple's account and iCloud controls.
- Privacy request: Email privacy@linguineapp.com to ask about access, correction or deletion of information held directly by us.
Retention and security
Information stored in the app is generally retained until you delete it using available app or device controls, remove the app, or ask us to delete information that we hold directly, subject to legal and operational requirements. Removing the app may not remove information separately stored in Apple Health or iCloud.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Linguine is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Age requirements may be higher where local law requires.
International use and your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights over personal information held by us, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or complaint to a regulator. Contact us to exercise a right. We may need to verify your request.
If you are in the UK, you may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Linguine changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
